Brno
Brno Stag Weekends
Situated at the meeting point of both the Svratka and Svitava Rivers, Brno, with around 400,000 inhabitants, is the second largest city in Czech Republic. It is the capital of Moravia and as such has a lot to offer.
The historical centre with all the main attractions as well as pubs and restaurants is located in the heart of the city and is called "Brno Stred". The western edge of the city center is formed by Spilberk Hill with its famous Spilberk Castle. Due north of the city center you will find the Veveri district, where main Brno’s universities are located, which in Pissup language means lots of young women and cheap beer. In the eastern part is the UNESCO-listed Villa Tugendhat.
Locals in Brno enjoy their beer AND coffee, so there's countless lively cafes to hang out in during the day. Still undiscovered by tourists, Brno is a place where Czech people are still enthusiastic to meet foreigners, instead of the the rather weary souls in other more touristy places.
