ABTA, ATOL, IATA or TTA?

Should I book with a foreign company or a British company?

In todays economic climate, booking with a foreign company or a British Company makes no difference. Most companies within the EU are legally binding to EU rules and to the country they are operating from.

Do I need ABTA, ATOL, IATA or TTA?

It's useful if you book with a company that has some professional association. At least it guarantees that they'll deliver a certain standard. But watch out for companies that claim to cover you with ATOL but sell holidays without flights - there is no protection for these type of holidays.
